Every energy cost calculation depends on the applicable tariff, and that tariff changes. The CNE Basic Supply Tariffs module keeps the schedule published by Mexico's National Energy Commission inside the platform, versioned by period.

Each record includes the official document (oficio) under which the CNE published that value. That detail is what turns a cost calculation into something defensible in an audit or a dispute with the supplier.

Because it is versioned by year and month, a historical cost is recomputed with the tariff in force then, not today's.
