Size it before you buy it

The kVAr Calculations — Simulations module takes the reactive behaviour measured over the period and computes the compensation required. It is a simulation: you can see what different scenarios would do before committing to a purchase.

Oversizing costs as much as undersizing. An oversized bank produces overcompensation, which is also penalised, and the surplus equipment is never recovered.

Analysis granularity matters: reactive power varies with operation, and a coarse average can recommend a bank that fails in the moments that count.

How to simulate

Set the target power factor — at the 5th percentile and as a minimum — over the chosen period and point, and the calculation returns the capacitive kVAr required. Changing the target and recomputing takes seconds, which is what makes comparing scenarios practical.
